I've used SkillsTutor, SkillsBank and PLATO for years. I prefer PLATO; much more comprehensive. Students work through the Reading Comprehension in SkillsBank5 in 1-2 days tops, where as PLATO takes weeks minimum. I've also found tech issues in each. Students enjoyed it when it was up & running. Our tech department and teachers were often frustrated with tech issues with it. We invested in a completely separate server to run PLATO and still experienced many tech issues. I'd like some feedback on these learning systems, including some cost comparisons. I am at sgoerdt at dbq.edu.
