There is a nice video about saving YouTube videos at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7s3c1OZiHs.

Basically, you find a program on the web...there are many including KeepVid, Vixy, Video Downloader etc.. Insert the URL into the application online (you don't have to download anything.) Name the resulting file with a FLV extension and save. Then download an FLV player. Do a search there are many of these also. Drag the downloader file into the player and Voila!

Subject: [Technology 1673] "Grabbing" videos

Barry (Bakin) and/or others who may know,

For teachers who may want to use a video that appears on VideoJug,
YouTube or TeacherTube, and who do not want to send students to the
Web site for reasons that you explained, how exactly does a teacher
"grab" the video? Are there legal restrictions to using a video this
way for educational purposes?

Thanks for your help.
