Kim,

You may want to try CDC's home page that has many of its publications
written in Spanish and go to the physical activity and neutrino area (we
have a center that specifically addresses this) the contact information is
on the web site under each topic area. The web site is www.cdc.gov and you
can go directly to nutrition and exercise at
http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/ The web site should give you more areas to
link on this topic as well.

The office of minority health, migrant clinicians, and I think but may have
the name wrong Julian Samara outreach center in MI is doing Research on
similar issues. Since the Office of the Surgeon General has dedicated as
one of his priorities as being reduction in health disparities there is more
information out there today than maybe 5 years ago.

You may want to contact the Hispanic-Serving Health Professions Schools for
ideas and information as well.

Subject: [NIFL-HEALTH:2745] validated Spanish language measures

Hello everyone. I am in the process of trying to locate any validated
Spanish-language behavioral (physical activity and nutrition,
specifically) and social support measures. Do any of you know where I can
go/who I can contact to find out about measures that people who are
conducting behavioral research with Latino populations may be using?

Thank you much,
Kim Riley
