I would ask that we behave collegially and anthropologically, assuming we can learn from each other always and respecting diverse perspectives on the complex topics with which we work. Personally, I embrace plain language as a useful tool and approach and I also embrace the need for a broad understanding of what communication is all about. I am always learning more about what communication is and how it really works (or doesn't). I would like to think I could post an opinion to this list without expecting to be rebuked. People will not contribute if they believe they will be judged harshly and found wanting. Let us be kind to each other. Thanks.
