A group of experienced adult educators developed a check list of indicators of good teaching, a categorized list of observable behaviors. The indicators provide a framework that enables teachers to develop expertise. I was struck by the similarities to the EFF Teaching and Learning Cycle and the EFF belief in transparent goals and objectives. Interested teachers and administrators may want to access the Teacher Observation Project at www.aelweb.vcu.edu/projects/observation/ This sounds like an interesting and valuable process.
